PURPOSE of Pursuing MY Dreams In MY Neighborhood                               Project Initiatives: 

 

Beyond the classrooms of schools and community-based organizations, the YouLEAD Assistance Network (YAN), an affiliate of Future Leaders Outreach Network (FLON), provides students and adult citizens, including parents and other caring adults throughout the community with essential skills to set and achieve meaningful goals.

Through these efforts, participants are empowered to unlock their potential and maximize their personal, educational, and professional growth.

​

This is a step-by-step process that will create more confidence and secure higher-paying jobs that over a period of time and decrease the number of citizens living at or below the poverty level.

​​Dr. Clemons and Njeri Shomari, authors of the Pursuing MY Dreams age-appropriate curriculums, have since 2004, championed a greater focus on developing the following Career Planning/Workforce Development training modules. 

​

This training positions, you best, to unlock your potential and position yourself as a self-sufficient community member.
